In partnership with the Lithuanian basketball school SKM, LEDVANCE has created lighting solutions for Fabijoniskiu Gymnasium and Taikos Progymnasium in Vilnius. These solutions enhance light quality and efficiently cut down on energy costs and maintenance.

Lithuania's largest basketball school, SKM, trains 4,000 children and teenagers daily across the country. In 2022, partnering with LEDVANCE, they assessed and aimed to improve the lighting quality in schools to encourage operators with inadequate lighting to consider upgrading.

SKM collaborated with LEDVANCE to enhance sports hall lighting sustainably, emphasizing the importance of modern and efficient solutions for the well-being of children and teenagers. LEDVANCE provided tailored improvement suggestions based on energy and lighting audits, leading to the comprehensive renewal of Fabijoniskiu Gymnasium and Taikos Progymnasium in Vilnius with 14 FLOODLIGHT PFM 150W ASYM and 20 LOW BAY Flex BALLPROOF luminaires.

The lighting upgrade significantly improved light quality in both sports halls. FLOODLIGHT and LOW BAY FLEX luminaires provide uniform light, excellent color reproduction (CRI>80), and reduced glare. LOW BAY FLEX luminaires with BALLPROOF cover are ideal for sports halls, requiring fewer units and offering a lifespan of up to 100,000 hours, leading to a threefold reduction in energy and maintenance costs. Additionally, FLOODLIGHT luminaires enable up to 4 times energy savings and a 2.5 times reduction in associated costs compared to conventional halogen floodlights.

In partnership with LEDVANCE, Lithuania's top basketball school, SKM, is dedicated to enhancing lighting in local sports halls.
