The Krijtland Wonen offices saw a significant upgrade of comfort for their employees' working environment when introducing flex working spaces with the right lighting at the right time from LEDVANCE.

THE CHALLENGE

The challenge for the lighting was that it ha dto contribute to the desired atmosphere on the one hand, but also that occupational health and safety standards had to be met in the workplaces and meeting rooms. Sustainability ha dof course been the common thread throughout the entire renovation.

THE SOLUTION

LEDVANCE created a lighting proposal together with the installer LS Elektrotechniekwhich could fulfill the high demands from Krijtland. LINEAR INDIVILEDD/I DALI-2 types have been installed at the workspaces. When people are absent only the indirect part of the luminaire switches on (special solution from the installer). For the basic lighting SPOT DK FIX DALI-2 were applied. For the zones as the kitchen area the TRACKLIGHT PENDANT of the LEDVANCE residential lighting range was installed on 1 phase trackrail.

THE BENEFITS

Switching the lighting to this new solution produced remarkable results in several respects: Energy consumption was significantly reduced by more than 60 %. The renovation of the existing office with a new layout of flex workstations with the goal of realizing “the remote workplace”. All of that worked out very well.

SUMMARY

With LEDVANCES lighting, Krijtland succeeded very well in achieving their goals. The combination of atmospheric and functional lighting is well balanced.
