BREATHE EASY - THE STERIWHITE AIR Q600 AIR DISINFECTION DEVICE FROM DR. HÖNLE AG ENSURES CLEAN AIR AND A HEALTHY LEARNING ATMOSPHERE IN THE CLASSROOM.

The corona pandemic continues to affect our everyday lives. UV-C technology can play an important role in making many areas of our daily coexistence safer. This is especially important for schools. The Max-Mannheimer Middle School in Garching was looking for a solution to make classrooms safer and more comfortable for pupils in times of pandemic by disinfecting the air.

LEDVANCE is cooperating in a strategic partnership with the UV specialist Dr. Hönle AG. In this context, LEDVANCE is the main sales partner for the product family SteriWhite. The devices for UV-C recirculating air disinfection in rooms are also suitable for use in schools. In the pilot project, a classroom of the Max-Mannheimer Middle School in Garching was therefore equipped with SteriWhite Air Q600 air disinfection devices. Only two SteriWhite Air Q600 devices are sufficient to create a healthy learning atmosphere in this classroom.

The SteriWhite devices work without chemicals and inactivate viruses, bacteria and molds in the room air within seconds. The effectiveness especially against SARS-CoV-2 viruses has been confirmed by external test institutes. In addition, the SteriWhite Air Q600 impresses with a low-noise operation of maximum 39 dB, modern design and easy installation and commissioning: the device can be mounted on a stand, on the wall or on the ceiling. The air purifier can be switched on and off at the touch of a button.

As a pilot project, the Max-Mannheimer Middle School in Garching wants to make teaching safer in times of pandemic by using modern air disinfection. For this purpose, LEDVANCE equipped a classroom of the school with chemical-free SteriWhite Air Q600 air disin-fection devices from UV expert Dr. Hönle AG. These devices inactivate dangerous germs in the indoor air and impress with a quiet operation, low maintenance and a simple installation and commissioning.
