The aim of this project was to make a comprehensive change to the lighting of the football field at the La Dehesa urban sports center in Cobeña, Madrid, in compliance with the lighting requirements for Class II pitches in accordance with DIN EN-12193. The facility was previously equipped with conventional floodlights, which were in poor condition. Other requirements for the new lighting system were to reduce maintenance costs and increase energy savings.

Thanks to LEDVANCE, the football field now has 48 Floodlight 500W HP ECO Class. 20 floodlights with a beam angle of 30º and 28 floodlights with a beam angle of 60º have been installed to provide uniform illumination.

Floodlights HP ECO Class enable energy savings of up to 50% compared to conventional floodlights. In addition, their high luminous flux improves the vision of athletes during training. Their IP65 and IK08 protection classes make them ideal for use in outdoor sports facilities.

LEDVANCE equipped the La Dehesa urban sports center in Cobeña, Madrid with Floodlight 500W HP ECO Class, which improves the athletes’ vision during training and at the same time convinces with energy savings, reduction of maintenance costs and protection classes IP65 and IK08.
