A wide range of LEDVANCE luminaires have been installed in the new Servex refrigeration and freezer technology building in Panningen in the Netherlands.

THE CHALLENGE

Servex B.V. is a company with 100 years of expertise and experience specializing in refrigeration, freezing, air conditioning and air treatment. The new building in Panningen, consisting of offices, production halls, workshops and outdoor facilities had to be equipped with various energy-efficient lighting solutions.

THE SOLUTION

In collaboration with a lighting specialist from Van Egmond Groep, a lighting plan was created for the new facilities of Servex B.V. in Panningen, including a broad portfolio of LEDVANCE lighting solutions, such as DOWNLIGHT, SURFACE BULKHEAD, PANEL, FLOODLIGHT and DAMP PROOF Gen 2 luminaires from LEDVANCE.

THE BENEFITS

The LEDVANCE DAMP PROOF Gen 2 provides uniform light with a wide beam angle. This makes the damp-proof luminaire, with protection rating IP65, ideally suited for use both in outdoor areas and in production halls. Furthermore, FLOODLIGHT PERFORMANCE luminaires with outputs from 10 to 200 watts have also been used as site lighting. These LED floodlights have an improved efficiency of up to 125 lm/W, are water resistant (IP65) and are shock resistant (IK07). In the office rooms, the lighting should provide an atmosphere in which employees feel comfortable and are able to concentrate on their work. Thanks to their glare reduction UGR <19, the DOWNLIGHT UGR19 PERFORMANCE luminaires ensure visual comfort at the monitor workstation. PANEL PERFORMANCE luminaires with optimized color consistency and extremely low flicker also contributes to this. All selected luminaires can be installed quickly and easily.

SUMMARY

After the lighting plan was created by Van Egmond Groep and LEDVANCE and the new luminaires were installed by Servex B.V. itself, the company is very satisfied with the lighting results. All spaces of the business building are equipped with an energy-efficient lighting solution that is perfect for the specific area.
